The 2015 Bathtub Races are here! #explorenanaimo

The festivities are going on all weekend, with the events culminating in the world championship bathtub race on Sunday, July 26th at 11am. Tonight I'll be watching the fireworks celebration from the Quality Foods rooftop party in the harbour - prime seats! I'm hoping to get some great pictures. I took this picture a few years back. I've always loved shooting fireworks - I consider it kind of akin to shooting mountain biking, which is what originally got me into photography. You've got to be quick on the draw or else you'll end up with nothing!
